Berthing
Santa Cruz
Marina is located In south basin of commercial harbour. All vessel should
report to Santa Cruz Harbour Control on VHF 12
five nm before the entrance to the harbour. On receiving permission call
Marina Santa Cruz on CH 09. You should get berthing instructions. Berths on the
five pontoons are all against fingers. Marina
accepts vessels up to the 100m, to the northeast quay (against floating
pontoons).
Formalities
Marina office is located in dark
grey/brown building near pontoon no 1-2. You should visit the office ASAP with
yacht documents, insurance, skipper passport. Non UE crews may also need to
visit Police (Policia Nacional) located in the Fred Olsen ferry terminal (5-10
minutes walk).

For crews
WC, showers (no coins or tokens), Wifi (low speed), many shops, markets, bars and restaurants.
Fast internet available in restaurants and bars out of marine.
We suggest to rent a car for 1-2 days and drive thru the island. Pico del Teide is most known, but Los Gigantes, Masca, Garachico, Icos de los Vinos are worth to visit. For a car You can ask in marine office. There are island map available also.
Santa Cruz City is not so tourist than most on Canary Islands, but everyone can find many interesting places in his centre, which is 20 minutes walking dostance.

14x4m yacht – 30EUR (November 2015) – water and electricity included.
WC, showers, Wifi (low speed transfer) – free of charge
Rent a Car – 30-40 EUR, depends on model
Cable car to Pico de Teide – 27EUR
