For boats

Bahia the Abona has two anchorages – north, below the village of Poris the Abona (sheltered from west to north winds) and other side of the bay (south), near to the long beach (sheltered from west to south winds).

North part – you can drop the anchor close to small bouys for local small boats, about 200m of the small beach. Depth about 4-6 meters, sand.

There is small cafes and bars and basic shopping.

South part – drop the anchor in front of the east part of long beach. Depth about 5-6 meters, sandy bottom.  There are rocks on the west part.

No facilities, you can walk up the path to view the small village build around the church. The walk to the lighthouse is longer and not so interesting as a village and church.

For crews

Beach, small bar with ice cream and drinks.
