For boats
Last 200 meters of approach
is shallow (less then 1.5m on low water) sail safe and slow along a breakwater of new basin. I
suggest to wait on high water. Depths in the marina about 2.3m (low water).
Marina is occupied by local boats (most of motors). There are just few places for visitors (usually western pier – inside or outside). A new basin is in progress, but not ready yet, and berthing there is possible but danger.
Moor in main basin, bow or stern to wooden pier. Other side use a small yellow buoy with pick-up line. Marina stuff are helpful, but don’t speak English.
There are strong onshore breeze which is typical of afternoon conditions.
Electricity (230V and 110V) and water on quays.
There is a petrol station inside marina, open 0800-1800 weekdays, 0900-1300 Saturday, closed on Sunday
Marina office is open 0800-1800 weekdays, 0900-1300 Saturday, closed on Sunday. Stuff is very helpful and friendly, but don’t speak English. We use google translator on marinas computer. Check in in marina office ASAP, take yacht document and passports.
Small slipway (up to 12 tonnes).
Yachts with deeper draught may have to anchor off marina and come in by dinghy.
Repairs, laundry, gas available – ask in marina office.
The Marina is well secure.

Vitoria is official port of entry. Ask in the marina office (located just after a rotary gate on the right) for a document with addresses of Immigration, Customs and Harbour Office. Take a taxi, cost about 10USD per leg.
