Puerto Angosto is a deep and wide bay. The entrance is quite easy, keep the middle channel and watch for rocks. There are few places to drop the anchor. You can swing at the middle of the bay, but the bottom is rocky and holding poor. With strong N wind you can drop the anchor close to N shore and tie 2 shore lines to the trees. Another place is close to S shore, use 2 shore lines and tie to the trees.
When strong W – SW wind is blowing, you can expect williwaws from W-SW-S direction.
When we visit this bay, williwaws where very strong (up to 40kn), and anchoring become danger (no holding by anchor). I’m not recommend anchoring there if there is a strong wind outside.
The surrounding is very beauty – high mountains, waterfalls, and trees.
