For boats
Patio is the main village on Tahaa. The anchorage front of the village
is not perfect because it is well protected only from SE-S-SW winds, but in
good condition (<20knt) you can anchor there, near position
16 34.862 SS and 151 29.588 W (depth 20m, bottom mud with corals)
There is no mooring buoys around.
Dinghy landing
First nearest place – short concrete quay located at:
16 34.934S and 151 29.692 W
When you approach this wharf by dinghy leave all thin stick on the water
to your port side (left), than you will go around coral shallow
It’s not good place to leave a dinghy.
Second place - better but more far is a basin in a small local harbour.
It is at position:
16 34.957S and 151 29.847 W
You can tie and leave your dinghy there safety.
