APPROACH AND ANCHORAGE
You can anchor on north or south part of the bay, which is divided by coral shoals. We did it on south part where is more beauty beach. Anchor position:
19 51.010S and 174 24.957 W (9m depth, sand, holding very good)
This is well protected anchorage, from N-NE-E-SE and South wind directions. There is plenty of space for many yachts, just anchor anywhere along the beach.
In high season it could be a busy anchorage, if you like to meet other sailors it’s a place for you. You can arrange a common barbecue with other yachts.
DINGHY LANDING
Just go to the beach. Remember to take the dinghy far from the water, there is a tide. Note there are some corals close to the shore in south part of the bay (marked on the charts).
